Bark and Bites - Inspiration Links

Where do you go to find inspiration? Do you get inspired by looking at art, while outside walking your dog, or by visiting your favorite websites? It is easy to run out of inspiration and motivation, and I believe it happens to everyone - no matter how long you have been blogging.  Lack of inspiration isn't necessarily a bad thing because I believe it presents to us the opportunity to research and learn new things.  I can spend hours, sometimes days, just looking at things I consider beautiful - but these are my go to links when I need a serious pick me up in the inspiration department.

CreativeLIVE is a new favorite hangout of mine.  The site features workshops in photography, video, design, business, audio, music, and software training, and is available for anyone to watch – for free – and interact with instructors in real time.  I recently watched a workshop on The Power of Pinterest and took away two days’ worth of wonderful information to revamp my Pinterest Page.  I am currently signed up for several website/design workshops, and eagerly look forward to their exciting Photo Week they have starting on the 16th.

I take an e- course at sites like A Beautiful Mess, or Decor8.  These sites create fun online courses that you can take covering topics like branding, identity development, and how to be your own blog boss.  Holly from Decor8 has a neat blogging/photography e-course coming up next month that I am looking forward to.

Attend one of your favorite blogging conferences like Blog Paws or Alt Design Summit.  If you are not able to attend a conference then you can usually find great resources like communities or network channels that are always full of inspiring information.

Inspiration can be found anywhere, and it always helps to have your favorite resources to go to when in need.  Where do you like to find your inspiration?  Hope on over to Newfandhound to see her inspiration links!

Mom is mainly inspired out on her runs or when walking with us. She thinks and then writes in her head, saves that and types it out when she gets home. So far it works well.

Thank you SO much! As the family's "professional student" that can't quit finding things she wants to learn, CreativeLIVE looks like just the place to while away some hours, days, weeks, months! FUN!!!

I agree! I find inspiration in my sapiens when I walk them.
